매일 식물을 관찰하면서 작은 생명의 소중함을 깨닫는 것 같아요. 지구 살리기의 거시적인 환경 사랑으로 승화되어 가는 게 눈에 보였습니다.

교육자료가 아이들의 호기심 유발에 도움이 된 것 같아요. 생소했던 우리나라 자생식물에 관심을 가지고 보호의 필요성을 주의 깊게 학습하는 모습을 보였어요.

하루는 아이들과 도화지랑 연필을 들고 산책에 나갔어요. 식물을 관찰하고 만져보고, 직접 느낀 것들을 스케치하는 시간을 가졌었죠.

평소 조용하고 두각을 나타내지 않던 아이가 매우 적극적으로 참여하는 모습을 보이더라고요. 점점 학교생활에 활력이 생기는 것 같아 보기 좋아요.

건물로 둘러싸인 작은 공간에 나무와 꽃으로 작은 오솔길이 만들어진 것 같아요. 아이들도 자주 오가며 계절의 변화를 실감하고 있답니다.

평소 조용하고 두각을 나타내지 않던 아이가 매우 적극적으로 참여하는 모습을 보이더라고요. 점점 학교생활에 활력이 생기는 것 같아 보기 좋아요.

반려식물을 정말 사랑하며 기르는 친구들이 있었어요. 그 친구들은 이번 파초일엽 뿐만 아니라 곧 다른 식물이나 동물 기르기에도 관심을 갖게 되더라고요. 이번 경험이 생명을 사랑하는 마음에 불씨가 되어준 것 같아요.

밤새 밀폐되어있던 교실 문을 열면, 왠지 향기가 나는 것 같고 상쾌한 기분이 들어요.

선생님과 같이 숲에 나무 심으러 가고 싶어요!
